To beginners, portable gaming is easier and better than you ever think!
Although most of our Discord players are very experienced in hardware and have their understanding of handheld consoles, we have seen some new players pop up and look for suggestions prior to purchasing in our community. They are not so familiar with portable gaming, but would like to try out this new way to get entertainment both at home or on the go.
Believe me, once you've tried laying on the couch and pulling out your console to play at your leisure, you'll fall in love with the feeling of gaming on handhelds.

Here’s a demo on ONEXPLAYER quick start and Steam installation. Follow the set up program>> download and install Steam through the browser>> log into your account>>>> That's it. you are good to go!

As ONEXPLAYER comes with a built-in Window 11 system, you can basically treat your gaming console as a mini laptop. It is also the core tech that One-Netbook has been specialized in since our first product OneGX series —— pack the powerful and stable performance into a compact device body!
This is one of the things that makes ONEXPLAYER different from Steam Deck as the gaming handheld, and can be seen as one of the advantages depending on your habits. Many of our users installed other software in their ONEXPLAYER for media consumption or light work tasks.

On our official website, we also uploaded drivers for each model to cope with small bugs you may encountered. If you desire a pure gaming library with steamOS for your console, you could also achieve that via methods such as HoloISO. We won't go into details here as the official voice :P.
