ONEXGPU - World's 1st Portable eGPU with Storage Free Oculink Cable

The ONEXGPU is truly an amazing piece of hardware. With an impressive form factor, it delivers a level of performance that elevates my already solid Minisforum V3 into a true semi-portable gaming rig.

However, there are some flaws and warnings to consider. First of all, it's incredibly loud—you absolutely need headphones if you're sitting next to it at full power. Second, Linux support is quite buggy. I managed to get it working on CachyOS, but only on my integrated screen, and only if the game allows you to manually select which GPU to use in the menu; everywhere else, it completely crashes the computer. For now, I'm sticking with Windows to fully enjoy it, but in these uncertain times, I would love to see ONEXPLAYER and other eGPU manufacturers collaborate with the Linux community to improve performance, especially on Bazzite or SteamOS.

PS: Be aware that you may need to pay import taxes. It depends on your country's legislation. In France, I had to pay 70 euros for it to pass through customs.

It was delivered quite quickly and is built really well. I use it with my Lenovo Legion Go and after installing the new drivers, it works like a charm. I am very happy with the boost in performance in most games. I am not sure why, but one or two games don't seem to work well with it, however, that doesn't bother me as it is fantastic for all the games I play.

This thing good, only I had to tinker a little with the connection and correct operation, I encountered a problem that after connecting the touchpad and the mouse were blocked, the Internet did not work, and when entering the PIN code it gave an error. There is little information on the Internet on how to fix this. But still, I configured it in the BIOS plus rolled up the drivers and everything worked fine, so if this is possible, it would be nice to make the connection simpler. But in general, everything works great. I connected to the laptop. All games work great. The device itself is made neatly and qualitatively, down to the smallest details, this surprised me. It is pleasant to work with it. handy thing

Everything i wanted, to be able to run some games on my surface pro 9 and perfect size to carry around. Does not disappoint, getting great performance. I install 1TB SSD in eGpu, and installed my games on it, works really good, and keep my device with mostly work things.
