We aim to ship to most regions worldwide except areas with restrictions.
When Frost Bay is not connected, both the Standard Edition and Liquid-Cooled Edition of Super X maintain a stable maximum TDP of 75W.
No. Frost Bay does not transmit data, nor does it require any driver installation.
It connects to Super X via the liquid-cooling tubes, not through a USB interface, so data transfer is not possible.
Here is how it works:
On the software side, control is handled via Bluetooth. Our OneXConsole frontend already includes built-in support, and Super X automatically recognizes Frost Bay.
No manual Bluetooth pairing is required, but Bluetooth on Super X must remain turned on for proper communication.
This difference mainly comes from the thermal structure and overall chassis design.
APEX is an 8-inch handheld device with a thicker body, a larger cooling module, and a more efficient airflow design, allowing the Standard Edition to sustain 80W stably.
Super X, on the other hand, is a thin-and-light 14-inch performance tablet-laptop hybrid. Its internal cooling system must balance slimness, noise control, and overall temperature distribution. While the Super X Standard Edition can reach 80W, 75W provides better long-term stability and reliability.
This design choice ensures sustained performance, lower noise, and a more comfortable user experience.
If you need 120W performance (or might in the future), choose the Liquid-Cooled Edition + Frost Bay.
If you simply want the ability to reach 120W TDP but don’t plan to use it immediately, you can purchase the Liquid-Cooled Edition only — Frost Bay will be sold separately later on OneXPlayerStore.
If you don’t need 120W TDP and prefer a lighter device, the Standard Edition is the right choice.
No. When the Frost Bay liquid-cooling unit is not connected, both versions deliver the same thermal performance, the same TDP limits, and the same overall performance. Their exterior design is also identical, except for the presence of the liquid-cooling interface on the Liquid-Cooled Edition.
